Question :-

x\% \times a = y\% \times b

To find :-

z\% \times b

we know that percentage can be Expressed as the number by 100, hence

 \dfrac{x}{100}  \times a =  \dfrac{y}{100}  \times b

   \dfrac{xa}{100}  =  \dfrac{yb}{100}

By cross multiplication,

100(xa) = 100(yb)

Transposing 100 to the LHS (Left hand side)

 \dfrac{100 \times xa}{100}  = yb

Canceling 100,

xa = yb

Transposing y,

 \dfrac{xa}{y}  = b

z% of b :-

 \dfrac{z}{100}  \times  \dfrac{xa}{y}

 =  \dfrac{zxa}{100y}
