Question :-

$x\% \times a = y\% \times b$

To find :-

$z\% \times b$

we know that percentage can be Expressed as the number by 100, hence

$\dfrac{x}{100} \times a = \dfrac{y}{100} \times b$

$\dfrac{xa}{100} = \dfrac{yb}{100}$

By cross multiplication,

$100(xa) = 100(yb)$

Transposing 100 to the LHS (Left hand side)

$\dfrac{100 \times xa}{100} = yb$

Canceling 100,

$xa = yb$

Transposing y,

$\dfrac{xa}{y} = b$

z% of b :-

$\dfrac{z}{100} \times \dfrac{xa}{y}$

$= \dfrac{zxa}{100y}$
