We have ,

x⁴ - y⁴


Separate or split it into two forms


⟹ (x²)² - ( y²)²

⟹ ( x² -y²) ( x² + y²)

⟹ (x+y) (x-y) [ x²+y²]

Further splitting it to get

⟹ [ (x +y) (x-y) { (x+y)² - 2xy}]

We have Given

Since we don't have formulas to solve this equation, we have to convert it into an equation in which we can apply formulas ...

We can do as follows

$({x}^{2})^{2} - ( {y}^{2} )^{2} \\ \\ now \: we \: can \: apply \: {x}^{2} - {y}^{2} = (x + y)(x - y)$
We get;

$> > ( {x}^{2} + {y}^{2} )( {x}^{2} - {y}^{2} )$

Again Applying the same formula
we get;

$> > ( {x}^{2} + {y}^{2} )(x + y)(x - y)$
