✴ By middle term split ,

{x^2 - 4x - 3x +12 } ÷ x-3

{x (x-4)-3(x-4) } ÷ x-3

{ (x-3) ( x-4)} ÷x-3

x-4

Now factories the equation

=> X^2 -4x - 3x +12 ÷ x-3

=> x ( X -4) -3 (x-4) ÷ x-3

=> (x-3) (x-4) /(x-3)

=> (x-4) ans
