$= > \: {x}^{2} - 4x + 13 = 0$

Let's find the discriminate.

$= > \: {b}^{2} - 4ac$

$= > \:( { - 4)}^{2} - 4(1)(13)$

$= > \: 16 - 52$

=> -36.

Here, Discriminate is -ve. So, The value of x is imaginary or complex.

x² - 4x + 13 = 0

a = 1 , b = -4 , c = 13

discriminant value b²-4ac

= (-4)²-4(1)(13)

= 16 - 52

= -36

it is <0

so there are no real roots
