x^2+2√3x-24
first we apply spliting of middle term
x^2+(4√3-2√3)x-24
x^2+4√3x-2√3x-24
x(x+4√3)-2√3(x+4√3)
(x+4√3=0)(x-2√3=0)
(x=-4√3)(x=2√3)
the answer in negative is not possible. so,the answer is 2√3.

Answer:

The value of x=2\sqrt{3}.

Step-by-step explanation:

Quadratic equations are the polynomial equations of degree two in one variable.

The general form is ax^{2} +bx+c=0

The given equation is x^{2} +2\sqrt{3} x-24=0

There are many ways of solving it.

Solve using middle term splitting.

x^{2} +2\sqrt{3} x-24=0

x^2+4\sqrt{3} x-2\sqrt{3} x-24=0

x(x+4\sqrt{3} )-2\sqrt{3} (x+4\sqrt{3} )=0

(x+4\sqrt{3} )(x-2\sqrt{3} )=0

(x+4\sqrt{3} -0)(x-2\sqrt{3} =0)

(x=-4\sqrt{3} )(x=2\sqrt{3} )

We will neglect the negative value.

Hence, x=2\sqrt{3}
