(X+2,4)=(5,2X+Y)
Since,
4=2X+Y ---eq.1
and X+2=5
=>X=5-2
=>X=3
Using value of X in eq. 1
4=(2*3)+Y
=>4-6=Y
=>Y= -2
Hence X=3 and Y= -2 is answer.
