x { }^{2}  - 10x - 24 = 0
hoe to find out this question in this equation
x =  -  b +  -  \sqrt{b {}^{2} }  - 4as \div 2a
this is the formula and the first Is the question please help ​

Answer:

  • Here, x^2=1 (a)
  • x= -10 (b)
  • c(constant)= -24 (c)

by substituting the above values in the formula we get,

= -(-10) + or - √(-10) - 4(1)(-24) / 2(1)

= 10 + or - √(-10)-96/2

= 10 + or - √-106/2

here √-106 is imaginary ..because negative sign doesn't exist inside the root.

so.. there r no roots for the given equation..!
