 {x}^{2}  +  {y}^{2}  + 2xy - 2x = 0 \\ this \: is \: in \: the \: form \: of \: \\   {a}^{2}  +  {b}^{2}  + 2ab = (a + b)^{2}  \\  (x + y)^{2}  - 2x = 0 \\ (x + y)^{2}  = 2x
