 {x}^{2}  +  \frac{1}{ {x}^{2} }  - 11

x² + 1/x² - 11

= x² + 1/x² - 2 - 9

= x² + 1/x² - 2×(x)×(1/x) - 9

[ since, (x)×(1/x) = 1 ]

= ( x - 1/x )² - 3²

= ( x - 1/x + 3 ) ( x - 1/x - 3)
