X = 15. Y = 10
X = 20. Y = x
They are inversely proportional. So 15*20 = 10x
300/10 = x , x = 30 . Here's your ans buddy. Hope it helps you.

Correct Question :
x varies inversely as y when x is 15 then y = 10 if x is 20 then Y =?
Solution :
( In the attachment )
Extra :
Inverse variation :
The statement " x is inversely proportional to y" can also be expressed as "there is inverse variation in x and y". If x and y are in inverse proportion , x × y is constant .
Assuming the constant to be k , it is easy to solve a problem.
If x varies inversely as y then x × y is constant .
'x inversely varies as y'
Can also be written as :
If ,
This , is the equation of variation
Note: K is the constant of variation
