x - (x - 1) \div 2 = 1  - (x - 2) \div 3

3(x - x + 1) = 2(1 - x + 2)

By cross multiplication.....

On the LHS x will cancel.

3 = 6 - 2x

3 - 6 =  - 2x

 - 2x =  - 3

x =  - 3 \div  - 2

x = 3 \div 2

Therefore, x=3/2

 \huge \bf{ \red{ \mid{ \overline{ \underline{ANSWER}}} \mid}}

 \huge \bf{ \frac{x - (x - 1)}{2}  =  \frac{x - 2}{3}}

 \huge \bf \:  \frac{x - x + 1}{2}  =  \frac{x - 2}{3}

  \huge \bf \: \implies  \frac{1}{2}  =  \frac{x - 2}{3}

  \huge \sf3(1) = 2(x - 2)

 \huge \sf  \implies 3 = 2x - 4

 \huge \bf \: 2x = 4  + 3 \\  \\  \huge \bf  \implies 2x = 7 \\  \\  \huge \bf \implies \: x =  \frac{7}{2}
