Answer:

x/(x-1)+(x-1)/x=5/2

x {}^{2}  + (x - 1) {}^{2}  \div x {}  {}^{2}  - x = 5 \div 2

x {}^{2}  + x {}^{2}  - 2x + 1 \div (x {}^{2}  - x) = 5 \div 2

2x {}^{2}  - 2x + 1 \div (x {}^{2}  - x) = 5 \div 2

2(2x {}^{2}  - 2x + 1) = 5(x {}^{2}  - x)

4x {}^{2}  - 4x + 2 = 5x {}^{2}  - 5x

4x {}^{2}  - 4x + 2 - 5x {}^{2}  + 5x = 0

 - x {}^{2}  + x + 2 = 0

 - (x {}^{2}   - x - 2) = 0

x {}^{2}  - x - 2 = 0

x {}^{2}   - 2x + x - 2 = 0

x(x + 1) - 2(x + 1) = 0

(x + 1)(x - 2) = 0

x + 1 = 0

x =  - 1

x - 2 = 0

x = 2
