Common ratio = $r= \frac{t_2}{t_1}=\frac{t_3}{t_2}$

So,  $\frac{x+3}{x} =\frac{x+9}{x+3}$

$(x+3)^2 =x^2+9x$

$x^2+9+6x =x^2+9x$

$9=9x-6x$

$9=3x$
