=x^2-ax-b(a+b)=0

=x^2-(a+b)x+bx-b(a+b)=0

=x{x-(a+b)}+b{x-(a+b)}=0

=x(x-a-b)+b(x-a-b)=0

=(x-a-b)(x+b)=0

so, x-a-b=0

=> x=a+b

again, x+b=0

=> x= -b

x=a+b , x= -b
