Given expression is

=> [x(x-y)+y(x+y)]/[(x+y)(x-y)] ÷
[x(x+y)-y(x-y)]/[(x+y)(x-y)]
On cancelling (x+y)(x-y) then
=> [x(x-y)+y(x+y)]/[x(x+y)-y(x-y)]
=> (x²-xy+xy+y²) ÷ (x²+xy-xy+y²)
=> (x²+y²)÷(x²+y²)
=> (x²+y²)/(x²+y²)
=> 1
