X-y = 0 , so x=y
Take any two points such as (0,0) and (4,4). You can take any point but x and y should be equal. It will be better if u take 0,0 since calculations will be easier. Join the two points.
Next, x+y=0 , so x=-y or u can say y=-x
Take any two points such as (0,0)and (-4,4). Take any 2 points but it must satisfy the given the equation.join the two points.
X=2 means that it will be parallel to y axis and will pass through 2,0
Extend all the three points so that theo intersect.
The three intersecting points are (0,0)....(2,2).....(2,-2).
So the area is 1/2 × 2×4=4

X=2 means that it will be parallel to y axis and will pass through 2,0

Extend all the three points so that theo intersect.

The three intersecting points are (0,0)....(2,2).....(2,-2).

So the area is 1/2 × 2×4=4
