x-y=1__(1)

→2x+y=8_(2)

multiply eq 1 ×(2) and eq 2×(1)

→2x-2y=2

→2x+y=8

➡️ 2x-2y=2

➡️ 2x+y=8

y=-6/-3

y=2

substitute y=2 in equation no (2)

➡️2x+y=8

➡️2x+2=8

➡️2x=8-2

➡️2x=6
