LET US MAKE ANOTHER EQUATION..

THIS IS YOUR X+y=10

AND THIS IS X-y=04

SO LET'S ADD THESE

WE GET...

10+4=X-y+X+y

we get. ....14=2X

X=14/2

X=7

so y = 10-7=3.......(asX+y=10)

so X=7

y=3
