We know (x+y)^2=(x-y)^2+4xy

Put the value of x-y=100 and xy=200

(x+y)^2=(100)^2+4(200)

(x+y)^2=10000+800

(x+y)=√10800

x+y=103.923 ……..(3)

From equation no (1)and (3)

x+y=103.923

x-y=100.000

By adding both equations

2x=203 923

x=203.923÷2=101.9615

and y=101.9615–100=1.9615

So x=101.9615 y=1.9615 Answer
