 \huge \red{ \mathfrak{Correct  Question}}

x+y=11--------(i)

x-y=7---------(ii)

 \huge \red{ \mathfrak{Solution}}

From first equation:

√x+y=11

=>√x=11-y

Substitute √x in second equation:

√x-y=7

=>11-y-y=7

=>11-2y=7

=>-2y=-4

=>y=2

Substitute y in first equation(last line):

√x=11-y

=>√x=11-2=9

Square both sides

x=81

Therefore,

x=81

x=81y=2
