x^2-14x√x+38=0

x^2-2x√x+2x√x-4x-10x+20√x-19√x+38=0 (Possible Factor 38=2×19)

x^2+2x√x-10x-19√x-2x√x-4x+20√x+38=0

√x(x√x+2x-10√x-19) -2(x√x+2x-10√x-19) =0

(√x-2) (x√x+2x-10√x-19)=0

If √x-2=0 Possible

√x=2

x=(2)^2

x=4

Putting x=4 in equn (ii)

x+√y=7

4+√y=7

√y=7-4

√y=3

y=3^2

y=9

Hence x=4

y=9 Ans.
