Given :- x+y=14 - - - - - (I)

2x+2y=18 - - - - - - - - - -(II) =>x=14-y - - - - - - - - - -(iii) Substituting the value of x in eq (II) we obtain that :- 2(14-y) +2y=18 =>28-2y+2y=18 =>28=18 (which is a false statement). So, this equation has no solution. (This is the required answer) or x+y=14 & 2x+2y=18 i. e x+y-14=0 & 2x+2y-18=0 Here a1=1,a2=2,b1=1,b2=2,c1=-14 & c2=-18 so a1/a2=1/2=1/2 b1/b2=1/2=1/2 c1 /c2=-14/-18=7/9 As a1/a2=b1/b2 not equal to c1/c2 ,so, this equation has no solution.
