x=15-y .......i
x-y=5.......ii

putting i in ii
15-y -y=5
-2y= -10
y=5

2x = 20

x = 20/2

x = 10


Substitute X value in either x+y=15 or x-y=5


x+y= 15

10 + y = 15

y = 15 - 10
