adding eqn 1 and 2 we get

3y=150

or,y=150/3

y=50

now

putting the value of y in eqn 1

or , x+50=150

or,x=150-50

x=100

Answer:

x+y = 150 (First equation)

x-2y = 0 (Second equation)

from first and second equation

x+y = 150

x-2y = 0

- + -

So +x and - x will be Cancelled

3y = 150

y = 50 answer

now putting tje value of x in first equation

x+50 = 150

x = 150 - 50

x = 100 Answer.
