{\red{\huge{\mathcal{Hey}}}}

x-y=-2

2x-y=1

x - y + 2 =  2x - y + 1 \\  - x  =  - 1 \\ x = 1 \\  \\ 1 - y =  - 2 \\ y =  - 3

mdkumar591: wrong i think
akshaygn: yeah

x -y =2------(1)

2x-y =1-----(2)

multiply (1) by 2 and (1) by 1

2x-2y=-4

2x-y=1

subtract

-y=-5

y=5

x-5=-2

x=3
