x+ y/2 =4

So, x+y =8 - eq 1

x/3+2y=5

So, taking LCM of x/3 and 2y

Therefore, x+6y/3=5

x+6y = 15 - eq 2

Solving both eq

x + y = 8

x + 6y = 15

Putting value of y in eq 1

x + 7/5 = 8

So, x = 33/5
