(x + y² -p) × (x² + y² - px)

=x(x² + y² - p) + y²(x² + y² - p) -p(x² + y² - p)

= x³ + xy² - px + x²y² + y⁴ - py² - px² - py² + p²

= x³ + xy² - px + x²y² + y⁴ - 2py² - px² + p²
