Multiply equation (i) by 2

→

2x - 2y - 6 = 0 ----- (iii)

Now , equation (ii) - (iii) -

3x - 2y - 10 = 0 ---- (ii)

2x - 2y - 6 = 0 ----- (iii)

→ x - 4 = 0

→ x = 4

Put the value of x into (i) -

→ 4 - y - 3 = 0

→ y = 4 - 3

→ y = 1
