x:y=3:4
---->x/y=3/4
------>x=3;y4
therefore,
        3(3)+4(4)
      5(3)+6(4)
 =9+16/15+24
 =25/39

x:y = 3:4
by substituting x=3 and y=4 in (3x+4y):(5x+6y) we get
=3×3+4×4/5×3+6×4
=9+16/15+24
=25/39
then in ration form it will be 25:39 (b)
