Hi friend!!

x+y=3----(1)

x-y=4---(2)

Adding (1) and (2),we get

2x=7

x=7/2

Substitute in(1)

7/2+y=3

y=3-7/2

=-1/2

I hope this will help u ;)

Heya !!!

X + Y = 3 --------(1)

And,

X - Y = 4 ---------(2)

From equation (1) we get,

X + Y = 3

X = 3 - Y -------(3)

Putting the value of X in equation (2)

X - Y = 4

3 - Y - Y = 4

-2Y = 4-3

-2Y = 1

Y = -1/2

Putting the value of Y in equation (3)

X = 3 - Y => 3 - (-1/2) = 3 + 1/2

X = 6 + 1/2 = 7/2.

HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU...... :-)
