Answer:

hello bacha !

given

x-y =5

xy = 66

we can write

x = 66/y

now put it on eq x-y =5

66/y -y =5

now

(66 -y²)/y =5

66-y²=5y

66-y²-5y =0

so

-y²-5y+66=0

y²+5y-66=0

y²+11y-6y-66=0

y(y+11) - 6(y+11) =0

(y-6) (y+11) =0

y=6 or y = -11

now put it on equation

x = 66/y

= 66/6

= 11

so

answer x = 11

y = 6
