Hello dear friend,

There are infinite number of solution, if there is only one linear equation in two variables.

For example,

Given: x+y = 5

Let x = 0 then y will be 5

Let x = 1 then y will be 4

Let x = 3 then y will be 2

Let x = -1 then y will be 6

Let x = -50 then y will be 55

......and so on.

Hope this helps ✌✌✌

Answer:

x+y=5 has how many solutions

Answer:- If there is only one linear equation in two variables, there exists an infinite number of solutions.

Step-by-step explanation:

A two-variable linear equation is one with the formula axe + by + c = 0, where a, b, c R, a, and b 0. An inconsistent pair of linear equations is a system of linear equations that cannot be solved. By comparing the coefficients of the equations in a system of linear equations, we can determine whether the system of equations has no solution. We can also infer this from the graph.

A equation have 3 solution:-

1. have many solution

2. no solution

3. unique solution

Many solution- There are innumerable solutions to a two-variable linear equation. There is a set of infinite solution points for the system of linear equations when each equation's L.H.S changes to its R.H.S. A graph of intersecting straight lines represents the system of linear equations with an infinite number of solutions.

No solution-  The system of linear equations has no solution if the graphs of the linear equations are parallel. There is no point in this situation when no lines cross one another.

Unique solution- There is only ever one solution to a linear equation with one variable. The one and only position at which LHS and RHS are equivalent upon substitution is the unique solution of a linear equation. When there are two simultaneous linear equations, the answer must be an ordered pair (x, y). The ordered pair will in this instance satisfy the set of equations.
