Firstly let us assume,

⟹ x + y = 5 as Equation 1

⟹ x - y = 3 as Equation 2

Now let us put x as 0 in Equation 1

⇢ x + y = 5

⇢ 0 + y = 5

⇢ y = 5

⟹ Value of y we get = 5

  • Henceforth, we get coordinates as (0,5)

Now let us put y = 0 in Equation 1

⇢ x + y = 5

⇢ x + 0 = 5

⇢ x = 5

⟹ Value of x we get = 5

  • Henceforth, we get coordinates as (5,0)

Now let us put x as 0 in Equation 2

⇢ x - y = 3

⇢ 0 - y = 3

⇢ -y = 3

⇢ y = -3

⟹ Value of y we get = -3

  • Henceforth, the coordinates we get are (0,-3)

Now let us put y = 0 in Equation 2

⇢ x - y = 3

⇢ x - 0 = 3

⇢ x = 3

⟹ Value of x we get = 3

  • Henceforth, the coordinates we get are (3,0)

They intersects at (4,1)
