x+y = 5
x -y=7
here using elimination method
x will cancel 2y = -2
y = -2/2
y =-1
put the value in eq no 1
x-1 =5
x =5+1
x = 6

✌hey here is ur ans ..✌

x + y = 5 ___(i)
x - y = 7 ___(ii)

now , adding both equations , we get

x + y = 5
x - y = 7
_______
2x = 12
x = 6

now substituting the value of x in eq (i) , we get ....

x + y = 5
6 + y = 5
y = 5 - 6
y = -1

hope it will help uh ..
