Answer:

1. 2x + = 2

Taking LCM

12x + x-y = 12

13x – y = 12 ………………………(1)

x + = 1

3x + 2x+y = 3

5x + y = 3 ……………………..(2)

Adding eqn (1) and (2)

We get,

18x = 15

X = =

Putting the vaue of x in (1)

We get, 13* - y = 12

- y = 12

- Y = 12 -

- Y =

y =-

(x,y) = (5/6 , -7/6)

Similarly

(x+1)/2 - (y-1)/3 = y+1

(x-1)/2 + (y+1)/4 = 2x-1

3x+3—2y +1 = 6y + 6

3x – 2y +4 = 6y + 6

3x – 2y-6y = 6-4

3x – 8y = 2 ………………….(1)

(x-1)/2 + (y+1)/4 = 2x-1

= 2x -1

2x – 2 + y + 1 = 4(2x-1)

2x + y -1 = 8x -4

2x + y -8x = -4+1

-6x +y = -3 ……………………..(2)

Multiplying eqn (1) by 2

We get, 6x – 16y = 4 …………………………….(3)

Adding eqn(3) and (2)

We get, -15y = 1

Y = -

Putting the value of y in eqn (1)

3x – 8* = 4

3x + = 4

3x = 4 -

3x =

3x =

X = ans

Similarly we can solve the third question of which we are not providing the solution still if you are unable to solve , please get back to us
