Step-by-step explanation:

(x-y)⁶ + (y-x)⁵..this is what we have to factorise...leave question for a moment...

now see....2⁶ =(-2)⁶. so it means that we can multiply with minus sign inside the bracket which have even power....

So.. (y-x)⁶ + (y-x)⁵ = (y-x)⁵{y-x+1}
