x+y=7/2, xy=5/2, find x-y

4xy = (x + y) {}^{2}  -  (x -y) {}^{2}  \\  = >   4  \times  \frac{5}{2}  -  \frac{49}{4}  =  - (x - y) {}^{2}  \\  =  =  >  \frac{40 - 49}{4}  = -  (x - y) {}^{2}  \\  = >   \frac{ - 9}{4}  = -  (x - y) {}^{2}  \\  =  > (x - y) {}^{2}  =  \frac{9}{4}  \\  =  > (x - y) =  \sqrt{ \frac{9}{4} }  \\  =  > (x - y) =  \frac{3}{2}
