Example:-

=> x+y= 5------(1)

=> 2x+y= 7-----(2)

Taking first Equation

x+y=5

=>x=5-y

At y= 0

=>x= 5

At y=1

=>x= 4

Plot the points (5,0) & (4,1) into graph

2x+y= 7

=> y= 7-2x

At x= 0

=> y= 7

At x=1

=> y= 5

Plot the points (0,7) & (1,5) into graph

After plotting the points we obtained graph is in a straight line which intersects at (2,3)

Hence, the solution of the given equation is (2,3)

∴ x= 2, y= 3
