Hey mate thank for the question

Hope it helps

x-y=7------------(1)

x+y=13------------(2)

Solving eq (1)

x-y=7

x=7+y-----------(3)

Substituting the value of x in eq (2)

x+y=13

7+y=13

2y=13-7

y=6/2=3

Putting the value of y in eq (3)

x=7+y

x=7+3

x=10

x - y = 7...........equation 1.

x + y = 13.........equation 2.

Now, from equation 1 ->

x - y = 7

x = y + 7........equation 3.

Now, on substituting the value of ‘x' in equation 2 by the value of ‘x' in equation 3 =>

x + y = 13

y + 7 + y = 13

2y = 13 - 7

2y = 6

y = 3.........

Now, from equation 3=>

x = y + 7

x = 3 + 7

x = 10......

So, x = 10 and y = 3....ans.
