EXPLANATION.

Graph of the equation.

⇒ x + y = 8. - - - - - (1).

⇒ 3x + 3y = 15. - - - - - (2).

As we know that,

From equation (1), we get.

⇒ x + y = 8. - - - - - (1).

Put the value of x = 0 in equation, we get.

⇒ (0) + y = 8.

⇒ y = 8.

Their Co-ordinates = (0,8).

Put the value of y = 0 in equation, we get.

⇒ x + (0) = 8.

⇒ x = 8.

Their Co-ordinates = (8,0).

From equation (2), we get.

⇒ 3x + 3y = 15. - - - - - (2).

Put the value of x = 0 in equation, we get.

⇒ 3(0) + 3y = 15.

⇒ 3y = 15.

⇒ y = 5.

Their Co-ordinates = (0,5).

Put the value of y = 0 in equation, we get.

⇒ 3x + 3(0) = 15.

⇒ 3x = 15.

⇒ x = 5.

Their Co-ordinates = (5,0).

Both lines are parallel to each other & never intersect with each other.
