To Find : Divide the land equally in 3 parts.​

Solution:

Road side  = 20 m

Hence we need to divide 20 in 3 parts

Length for each would be 200 m

Each part = 20/3

20/3 = 6.66......  m

not possible to measure exactly

let say AB = 20 m

draw a ray AC

Take 3 points one by one at equal distance  

join last point with B

then draw line parallel  to drawn line passing through 1st and 2nd point intersecting AB  at two points

Hence AB will be divided in 3 equal parts
