here. x=y=z

therefore

z+z+z = 180

3z=180

z=180÷3

z=60°

x,y and z lies in the straight line

so the sum of these 3 angles will make 180°

so

x  + y + z = 180 \\ z + z + z = 180 \\ 3z = 180 \\ z =  \frac{180}{3}  \\ z = 60

( as x=y=z so all the three angles are taken as z in step 2 )

.•. x=y=z = 60°

so the angle of z is 60°
