$x + y = 3x - 2y \\ y + 2y = 3x - x \\ 3y = 2x \\ y = \frac{2x}{3} ......i$
let length
$x + 7 = y + 8 \\ x - y = 8 - 7 \\ x - y = 1 .....{ii}$
putting the value of y in equation ii
$x - \frac{2x}{3} = 1 \\ \frac{3x - 2x}{3} = 1 \\ \frac{x}{3} = 1 \\ x = 3$
putting the value of X in equation i
$y = \frac{2x}{3} \\ y = \frac{2 \times 3}{3} \\ y = 2$
length = X+7=3+7=10
breadth= X+Y=3+2=5
