Hiii friend,

X+Y = 8......(1)

2X -3Y = 1....(2)

From equation 1 we get,

X +Y = 8

X = 8-Y.......(3)

Putting the value of X in equation (2)

2X -3Y = 1

2 × (8-Y) -3Y = 1

16 - 2Y -3Y = 1

-5Y = 1-16

-5Y = -15

Y = 15/5 = 3

PUTTING THE VALUE OF Y IN EQUATION (3)

X = 8-Y => 8-3= 5

Hence,

X = 5 and Y = 3.

HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU..... :-)
