Given that,
x+y+z=6 ..........(1)
3x-y+2z=8 ........(2)
x-y+z=2 .......... (3)
From equation (1), we get
x+y+z=6
=> z = 6-x-y ........(4)
Putting these value in 3, we get
x-y+z=2
=> x-y+(6-x-y)=2
