x²-2x²+4x -2x +4 -1= 0

-x²+2x +3 = 0

x²-2x -3= 0

x²-3x +1x -3= 0

x (x -3) + 1(x-3)=0

(x+1)(x-3)=0

(x+1)=0 or (x-3)=0

x =-1 or x = 3

side of triangle cannot be negative. so, the value of x =3.
