Here's your answer !!

______________________________

It's given that,

 = > {x}^{2} + \frac{1}{ {x}^{2} } = 38

We have to find value of ,

 = > x - \frac{1}{x}

We know that,

 = > {(x - \frac{1}{x}) }^{2} = {x}^{2} + \frac{1}{ {x}^{2} } - 2 \times x \times \frac{1}{x}

 = > {(x - \frac{1}{x} )}^{2} = {x}^{2} + \frac{1}{ {x}^{2} } - 2

by \: putting \: value \: of \: {x}^{2} + \frac{1}{ {x}^{2} } we \: get

 = > {(x - \frac{1}{x}) }^{2} = 38 - 2

 = > {(x - \frac{1}{x} )}^{2} = 36

 = > {(x - \frac{1}{x} )} = \sqrt{36}

 = > x - \frac{1}{x} = 6

Hope it helps you !! :)
