x² + 2 + 1/x² = x + 1/x + 7/4 +2

(x + 1/x )² = x + 1/x + 15/4

where is the 2 in LHS

from the question

we assume

a=x

b=1/x

now put the value in (a+b)²

x+1/x)²= x²+(1/x)²+2(x(1/x))

where x and 1/x cancel out only 2 will left
