Solution :

Given quadratic equation x² - 12 = 0

=> x² - ( 2√3 )² = 0
_____________________

We know the algebraic identity :

a² - b² = ( a + b )( a - b )
______________________

=> ( x + 2√3 )( x - 2√3 ) = 0

x + 2√3 = 0 or x - 2√3 = 0

x = -2√3 or x = 2√3

Therefore ,

-2√3 , 2√3 are two roots of

given quadratic equation.
