Answer:

x2-12x+32=0

We add all the numbers together, and all the variables

x^2-12x+32=0

a = 1; b = -12; c = +32;

Δ = b2-4ac

Δ = -122-4·1·32

Δ = 16

The delta value is higher than zero, so the equation has two solutions

We use following formulas to calculate our solutions:

x1=−b−Δ√2ax2=−b+Δ√2a

Δ−−√=16−−√=4

x1=−b−Δ√2a=−(−12)−42∗1=82=4

x2=−b+Δ√2a=−(−12)+42∗1=162=8

Answer:

x² - 4x - 8x + 32 = 0

x( x - 4) -8( x- 4) =0

(x-4)(x-8) = 0

therefore values of X are 4 and 8.
